Very cozy, family atmosphere, super team with great service. good starting point for various walks and touring parking right in front of the house.Good overnight in simple, clean rooms.Light-containing breakfast buffet - a little away from the tourist stream - therefore "pure" guaranteed

The big plus: stayed and eat like on a mountain hut and yet enjoy the pleasantness of a gasthof. the team of the patscherhütte is super hospitable and the foods are simple, but very good.

The small valley of patsch (patschtal in German) you can reach from Italy along the stable pass and turn left at the end of the descent into the Austrian territory. The restaurant - but it would be better to define it hut or refuge - is located in the middle of the valley (additional road, 7 euros) and can be reached by car (maximum parking.) the place is a charm, seems to have stayed back many years, away from mass tourism, traffic and confusion. sit on the rustic benches of the garden, in the shade of the pines, you only feel the sweet flow of the stream, the muggito and the bells of the cows and the singing of the birds! The lunch was great: gnocchetti in pan with cheese, gerostel (padella of meat and roasted potatoes) all really good. Accompanied by the friendliness of the owner who is very well with Italian! We were there 3 times but we will definitely come back!
