We were happy to eat in this place because we heard about it. We were so excited that we also booked a room at the hotel. I found an average meal though we had the “surprise 6 course meal”. Nothing was surprising. All 6 dishes were only on a very small scale in the standard menu. In the end, I was hungry and I was not starved to begin. 2 of the six were desserts. The two appetizers were very bad. Overall, if you are looking to spend over 100 Eur for a couple without wine then somewhere else... very disappointing
We found Dollerers about a CNN article about undiscovered restaurants in the world. Happy for us we were in Salzburg when we read it. We made the 30-minute drive and were rewarded with creative, delicious food, exceptional wine pairings, warm and professional service and the best meal we had in our eight weeks in Europe. We're glad we have a table before the world finds out about this hidden gem.
For sure this place is one of the best restaurants in Austria. Andreas, the owner and the chef, with his family made a great job with the fusion of this top restaurant with a nice hotel, fancy food shop and wine shop all-in-one. It's a place that you must visit if in the area and sure is one of that places that I'll come back again. The passion of this family is present in every dish and every corner of this magnificent place. Congratulations to all the family!
