A J's Corner Tavern - Weldona

This business seems to no longer be in operation. It's unfortunate, as it looked like it was conveniently located near the state park. Aside from that, there aren't any other options close to the state park.

I had heard great things about this restaurant from my colleagues, so we decided to check it out tonight. I'm so glad we did! I ordered a patty melt with bacon and ribbon fries, my son had a kids' hamburger with curly fries, and my friend got a bacon cheeseburger with ribbon fries. We also shared an order of pub pickles, and I must say, everything was delicious. The burgers were cooked to perfection and were huge! There's nothing fancy about this place, just genuinely good food!

Wow. These burgers are fantastic. Make sure to arrive hungry because you definitely won't be let down. The burgers are large and cooked to perfection—no frills, no fancy toppings, just straightforward, delicious burgers and fries. They stand on their own without needing a bunch of condiments to mask any shortcomings, unlike some other places I've tried.

The prime rib is excellent, and I highly recommend the food overall. It's also very family-friendly!
