Contribuisci feedbackWe had an absolute blast celebrating our daughter's Sweet 16! The party was a huge success, with our guests raving about the delicious food and outstanding staff. The atmosphere exceeded expectations for both young and old alike. I wholeheartedly recommend this place—it's a true gem!
Went for their Easter Brunch, $65. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, soggy French toast, fried chicken a bowl of spinach w/ a few tomatoes 3 lumps of cheese. Sausage gravy rolls came out 20 minutes after we started to eat. They’re deluxe pastries, were 3 kinds ..on a hotel breakfast scale. We had to ask wait for, butter, salt pepper, and more coffee. Incredible rip off- no fruit, no potatoes, no cheese/meats. Horrible
Maxwell's Plum in Wellington Florida is located in the MInzer Center. The decor and and atmosphere is quite chic. The staff, especially Amelia, was extremely friendly. My wife and I shared the French Toast with bananas. It was absolutely delicious. There is plenty of parking and its not an issue.
On a Thursday evening they were out of a risotto that they had introduced a month earlier, to be precise, the lobster in the dish.My wife ordered a filet rare and it arrived well done. The sauce for it had separated. We informed the waitress and she did nothing about it.Came to dessert and they were out of everything except a gilatto.Service was not attentive and seemed to be a fill in.Sorry to say that previously the resto was excellent. I don’t know, yet I do know that the table near us had similar problems.Will not revisit this place until I definitely hear that it has improved greatly.Would not recommend it at this point in time.
STAY AWAY!!!My friends and I arrived for our 7:30pm reservation and were seated promptly. The server came over after about 10 minutes and took our drink order and appetizers. The dining room was relatively quiet. it took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks only after complaining to the waitress and over 30 minutes to receive appetizers which came out wrong spinach dip and brussel sprouts . We politely express our concerns about the ridiculously long wait time.Now to the entrees, the table ordered Seabass, Grouper w/petite salad, NY Strip w/Chef sauce, grilled onions, and broccolini. At 9:15 we still were waiting on our food. So this time we requested that a manager visit our table. Manager/Owner Jenny came to our table and we expressed to her the dissatisfaction with our service and food so far. Jenny gave us a bunch of excuses the kitchen is short, the kitchen staff is not as experienced BLAH BLAH!! Our food finally came out around 9:30, completely not what was described on the menu. Seabass and Grouper had a VERY UNPLEASANT ODOR it was bad Grouper was supposed to come with a petite salad but it was plated with some unknown orange mash maybe butternut squash who knows the Seabass came with nothing on the plate, the steak came with nothing on the plate, it was supposed to have broccolini. We requested to speak with the Owner/ Jenny AGAIN!! We told her both the Seabass and Grouper had a HEAVY HEAVY UNPLEASANT ODOR everyone at the table could smell the STENCH . My friend asked where was her petite salad that was described on the menu. They brought her a petite salad with some white-looking meat on top. She asked the waitress what was the white stuff and the waitress responded Feta Cheese That was a LIE!! It was SEAFOOD... How do you mistake seafood for cheese? SMH At this point, we were fed up and sent ALL our food back and requested the bill. Jenny returned to the and made the statement What Now? and stated she would be discounting our food. Umm, Don 't you think? The bill arrived at the table totaling $240, we were like WTH!!!. That was with NO Food. There was $65 worth of Gratuity on the bill. We were like so we paying Gratuity on food we didn 't eat? Wow!! That 's unheard of...So to sum it up. The owner/Jenny 's attitude was shockingly dismissive, as if customer satisfaction was an inconvenience her refusal to acknowledge the subpar quality of the food and the abysmal service, and her lack of attentiveness, were disappointing. Despite the clear DISSATISFACTION with the meals, there lack of accountability and customer-oriented service. This experience has left a sour taste, both literally and figuratively, making me state I will NEVER NEVER RETURN to this restaurant.
