On a random last minute trip to pickup a horse, to a small town in northern Colorado, Wellington, it has a population of 11k according to the Google machine. We found this little local Brewery and was pleasantly blown away with how awesome it was! Farm Built Beer means they grow a lot of the ingredients for their beers! So right there I love the concept! I'm a Coors light drinker so small Breweries are usually lost on me but this was hands down the best I have ever had! Their lager is flavorful without feeling like you're drinking a flower or something. The Blond is as equally delicious! My better half is a blue moon drinker and tried their Clementine Wheat and we walked out with a crowler, so safe to say she really liked it. The food was way better then I expected when I learned it was a food truck. Clever (I think that was the name of the truck) makes high end restaurant quality food out of truck! Blew my mind! The home made buffalo sauce on the wings is top 2 I've ever tried. The small town feel and Nichole our bartender rounded out an amazing experience. If you are driving through or within a 100miles it's worth the time and detour to stop! We are already trying to figure out how we are going to justify a trip back up this way!
Great beer, great food, great service and a really cool indoor or outdoor atmosphere. We love it and stop by every time we are in the area.
Awesome space for the whole family and then some. Beer is solid and they have a decent variety.
So glad we pulled over in Wellington. This was a great little small local brewery. Staff are friendly and attentive! Wish we had a little more time but we had to continue our adventure into Wyoming...
