(My husband says the dal makani is better in Porirua Little India. The okra dish was a little oily, but very tasty. Overall it was delicious and very full.
It was really delicious and a real touch to have Naan breads that were vegan friendly. The curry was delicious, we had a dhaal and an Aloo Ghobi, as well as Samosa, Bhaji, rice and garlic naan. I forgot to take photos because I consumed it very quickly. Only disadvantage was that they brought a non- vegan bath with the vegan order, and then said: "It comes with this bath, but it is not vegan, so I think you don't want it." But fair enough to ask better than not to mention. It's really great. Updated by previous rating on 2023 01 29
I went to this restaurant with a group of friends after visiting Little India last night. I ordered the chicken korma and naan bread, and it was the best korma I have ever had. The manager was very professional and the service provided by the employees was excellent. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.
During our travels in New Zealand, we stumbled upon Little India in Palmerston North. After seeing them in Wellington, we decided to drive there for dinner. It was one of the best Indian meals I've had outside of India. We ordered Chole Bhature and Matar Paneer with Tandoori Rotis, and the food was delicious, although we felt the portion size was a bit on the smaller side. The staff was very friendly, making it a great spot for authentic Indian cuisine.
The food at this restaurant was truly delicious and it was a pleasant surprise to find that the Naan Breads were vegan-friendly. We enjoyed a Dhaal and Aloo Ghobi curry, as well as samosas, onion bhajis, rice, and garlic naan. Unfortunately, they mistakenly brought out a non-vegan dip with the vegan order, but quickly realized the error and offered to remove it. Overall, the experience was great and we would definitely recommend this restaurant. (Review updated on January 29, 2023)
