Would never go back . They should have given our free of charge . My husband’s club was made with packaged lunch meat and not deli sliced . Horrible save your money !!!!!
Steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors were good. Definitely a place I'll stop every time I go through the area.
We had breakfast here. The menu is standard breakfast fare. And as others have noted it is in a small casino which is typical of small town Nevada. So why 4 stars. The food was good and cooked to perfection and the service was excellent! Alma greeted us with a friendly smile and made sure our coffee cups were always full.
Shoot. I can barely ever get a good rare Tbone in Reno or several other towns. My steak was perfectly done, the salad was nice and crisp, service was decent. Really good meal overall. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. We actually tipped the kitchen $20 in addition to our regular tip. I'll definitely be back. Cheers.
Visited the Iron Skillet this past Monday. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and seated; only about three or four other tables occupied at the time we arrived (around 9 a.m. . Had a short, yet pleasant conversation with our waitress while placing our order. In the meantime, only one other party of three was seated. It took nearly 45 minutes before our meal was served. Both orders were incorrect. Mine was close, an omelet, but incorrect ingredients. My husband ordered ham eggs, yet received an omelet also. The waitress seemed confused as to whose order it was or how it got prepared so incorrectly. The order was resubmitted. After about another 15 minutes or so, our order was served. Pretty sure my English muffin sat in the warming window for at least 15 minutes and the only item on the plate was the omelet ordered and remnants of the hash browns that were to accompany the omelet. About that same time a side order of hash browns was delivered to the booth just behind us. Jokingly made a comment about my hashbrowns being scraped off my plate and served to the other party. Much to my amazement, that's exactly what was done. The explanation was that the other customers were not done to their liking. The waitress offered to have a new order of hashbrowns made. I declined (wasn't in the mood at that point . Just can't make this stuff up. Most likely our first and last visit to the Iron Skilket.
