There is a large garden to the rear with views over fields to the church. The pub is dog friendly. Service was friendly and welcoming (thank you Rachel) and the food was delicious and plentiful. There are a number of specials available in addition to the main menu. Everything is home cooked, they serve some nice beers and have a good wine list. The cider braised pig cheek croquettes were delicious, as was the pork with bubble and squeak and cream cabbage and beautifully cooked pan fried Sea Bream. You will not leave hungry! We booked a table for an evening meal and very glad we did, the pub was full on arrival at 7.30pm so book is essential. Definitely will visit again when we are next in the area.
