Builders Arms - Welwyn Hatfield

The soup and service at this restaurant are excellent, with the staff always being warm and welcoming. My favorite staff member is Daniel, but Suzie is a close second as she always engages with me while I study at the pub. Alison always remembers to give me a straw with my drink, which I appreciate. Scarlett and Katie are also great to chat with, and Chloe and Tina do a fantastic job hosting the quiz nights. Although I haven't had a chance to talk to Kara, Amber, and Ella yet, they seem very polite and welcoming. Phil cooks delicious food, and Fernando, another chef, is a sweet guy who gave me a rose for International Women's Day. The team overall is lovely, and Kerry and others do a fantastic job painting the signs, which are always interesting to look at. The decorations are beautiful, especially the balloons for seasonal events. The winter decorations with white confetti-filled balloons had a winter wonderland feel, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

My wife and I travel 125 miles every two weeks to visit my elderly godparents, and we always make sure to stop at The Builders. Even if it was just for the pub, it would be worth the journey. It's a cozy place that makes you feel welcomed, with staff who are fantastic and food that is top-notch. If only we had a pub like this nearby! The Builders reminds me of the good old days of a neighborhood hangout, and that's what makes it so special. Would I recommend it? Without a doubt.

There was no food available, but there were a few beers to choose from, all of which were quite good.

Came here on boxing day. I am not from the area and this was the first time I had been here. It is a lovely cosy pub inside. Food was amazing, very tasty and cooked beautifully. Service took a while between each course, but it was quite busy and boxing day. Would definitely recommend this place to eat.
