In today's society, with the aftermath of COVID, many restaurants are now requiring customers to order at the table. At Nando's, customers must scan a QR code on the table to place and pay for their order, which can be a complicated and cumbersome process. It also involves creating a Nando's account, with no option to checkout as a guest. Unfortunately, during my visit, there were no offers for drink refills or sauce options. The food, once a standout, now seems mediocre. Nando's has lost its former charm and quality. Additionally, the requirement to open a Nando's account to order food seems unnecessary.
The fries were soggy and the chicken was overcooked, lacking seasoning and flavor. It was disappointing and we will be trying a different restaurant in St Albans next time. We don't often get takeout, so it was a letdown that our family's meal was so disappointing.
I’ve been to this Nando’s multiple times. In the past they have been a bit on and off with the food (Slimy chicken). However the foods back to normal, with excellent organisation when it comes to health and safety with Covid 19. It takes a while to get a seat in the restaurant, but I really like the fact you can order from your table.
Excellent service, good food, social distancing with the Covid safe measures spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
