I have a gluten allergy, and Nishith was incredibly helpful in helping me select gluten-free options from the menu. They even offered gluten-free beer, which really made my day. A big thank you to the chef for preparing such a wonderful dinner!
This is a beautiful restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. They truly embody the essence of Indian cuisine! You'll have a fantastic experience here, so be sure to visit and enjoy.
We came about a year ago about this pub and we are so glad that we did. the drinks are very cheap, and they serve excellent cocktails. we never thought that we could find good quality, authentic Indian food in wgc, but that is served here. our favorites are the lamm kebabs, chili mogo and okra fritten. Once we tasted the food (at several places,) we decided to keep our 30th birthday here with about 75 people. the functional space was the perfect size for these many people and had a lot of space to have more if we wanted. there was also space for a dj and dance floor, although we decided not to have this as we wanted to meet an intimate one. we chose the breakfast buffet. the food was served hot and it was clearly not warmed again and served fresh as the okra fries were crispy and the boy was soft (if the fries had reheated soggy and the boy chew. Some of our guests were surprised to find that the food was all in the house as they said it was better than london style catering. the room has its own private entrance and can also access the main pub. we also had access to private toilets. they would recommend themselves for a function or even for a delicious dinner! sure to say we found our inder.
"We had a variety of options: aloo tikki, masala papad, chicken lollipops, jeera rice, prawn 65, and tandoori roti, all infused with the authentic aromas of Indian cuisine. Nishith was there to assist us in selecting our dishes. A big thank you to all the staff and especially the chef!"
A bit noisy as dining is in the main pub but food made up for it. The flavours were amazing- had a variety of small plates, street food and mains. Chilli paneer and the chilli garlic mogo were the favourites. The offer on the cocktails...was the cherry on the top.
