We got a takeaway between Christmas and New Year. We are both vegetarian. The onion bahjis were very dry and difficult to eat. We ordered 2 different vegetarian curries. One was a vegetable curry, the other was a paneer curry. The paneer curry was mainly chicken! We were asked to double check the meal, but we know what cooked chicken looks like. They did send a paneer curry out but very little paneer in it and no apology whatsoever. We use this curry house fairly regularly but we won't be back. It's a shame as it's local but no customer care and it was very expensive for what it was.
We have eaten here many many times and on the whole the food has been good, although in recent months the quality has been declining. We always book in advance, as someone in our party has mobility issues and cannot sit in the upstairs dining room due to the stairs. We always make this clear on the phone when booking, and we often adjust our preferred arrival time to accommodate our needs. So given all the above, we were very surprised to arrive at the agreed time to be told they had no downstairs table, although there was a space. When I questioned why they hadn't contacted us to say they couldn't accommodate us downstairs due a large group they just asked us to leave we were shocked they were effectively discriminating against people with mobility issues despite taking yhe booking. Despite eating here regularly, having previously been warned about rude and unprofessional staff, we had never encountered this behaviour before this visit. Sorry but they have lost a loyal and regular customers
Really flavoursome clean food, heads and shoulders above curry houses for miles. I work in Welwyn Garden City occasionally, and there’s plenty of choice to eat out but Neam Tree is really special. I’ve eaten here on numerous occasions either with colleagues or solo, and every time it’s stood out as exceptional but in modest surroundings, with a very relaxed atmosphere. You really need to try this place if you like your curry, it’s next level.
I was visit there we gets warm welcoming and we ordered starters chicken wings it's uncooked , tasteless and main course like very sweet everything curry which not flavor like India. Rest everything was good and staff was very friendly.
