Turkish Kitchen - Welwyn Hatfield

We went for dinner on Friday evening and had the most fantastic Turkish meal. having lived in Ankara for 7 years I can honestly say this is the best meal we have had since leaving Turkey. We had the hot and cold starter platters then lamb and chicken kebabs and the spicy chicken wings, all incredibly tasty. The service was great too and the staff friendly and helpful.

Delicious advocado,feta and poached eggs on sourdough. It's how the eggs are cooked to perfection that stands it apart as does the presentation.

Absolutely unacceptable service, forgotten order after 1 hr wait. Ten minutes later, told no fruit left for pancakes, offered us some free drinks but even forgot to bring them over. food arrived barely warm. they had the cheek to take 10% off the bill!!! and the bill was wrong. I will never go back and would certainly not be recommending this place to anyone This was on mothers day too so totally ruined my mums day

I visited on Saturday with three friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Lovely find. The service was also good.

This used to be one of our favorite takeout spots, but it seems like they have hired a new chef. Normally, I love getting the meat moussaka here which is typically delicious with layers of eggplant, potato, and minced lamb in a flavorful tomato sauce. However, last night's meat moussaka seemed to be made with grey colored minced lamb, sweetcorn, green peas, chickpeas, and a bland topping. It was nothing like any meat moussaka I have ever had before, so I ended up throwing it away after trying it.
