The Red Lion - WELWYN

Lovely pub for a good pint, cocktails were nice too. Dessert was on another level recommend the lotus bomb. Will have to go back for the linguine.

I DJ’d and supplied a saxophonist for The Red Lion on New Years Eve and the hospitality that was supplied was superb. Stephen the manager and all the staff were really accommodating, and the food, well take a look for yourself, that was lovely! Thanks again for making work such an enjoyment, hopefully we can do the same again soon!

We were a party of 15 who went to Red Lion for a business social. Stephen and his staff did a tremendous job at looking after us. They were patient, attentive and very friendly. The food was great too and everyone was very happy with the experience. Thank you SO much!

All the service was excellent, the only issue was the time it took for the drinks to arrive. We ordered drinks when we ordered our meals we had finished our starter before our drinks arrived. This soured the meal as this was a birthday celebration. After spending just short of £100 this was a big black mark on the total service score given.

Unfortunately no images of the food as I came here for a customer lunch, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meal. I had a fillet steak which was cooked perfectly. Also didn't take long for the food to be served. Service was friendly and attentive. Would come back if in the area.
