Farmhouse Cafe - Wendell

This place is a treasure! They have smoothies and a creative menu. The key lime dessert looked terrific. My food was cooked properly it was just a sloppy plating; my smoothie did not match expectations. It has a good vibe to the place with outside(with fire pits in the winter) and inside seating.

I?ve been here a few times and each time I?ve witnessed the food being repaired without gloves. Everyone seemed to be wearing gloves except the man preparing the food which doesn?t make sense. Don?t bother ordering wine, the pours are sad at best. Thefood is good thus the 3 stars. *edit to change to 1 star. I literally just watched the man wipe his face and then continuepreparing food without gloves. Very gross.

So I met some friends here and mixed feelings about the place. So I thought I'd put out the pre- and post-parts: positiw: eating was deliciously cool.

My husband and I love this place. We live 45 minutes away but we go there for lunch when we want to treat ourselves! The caprese sandwich is out of this world delicious. The are very accommodating if you want to add other items on your sandwich or switch up the bread. The cashier is a pleasure to work with. She always has a smile on her face.
