These courses are usually held on Saturdays mornings. Moreover, there is probably the possibility to book courses for different types of courses - e.g. for youngsters, children's birthdays etc. (choice of the owner to get for children's birthdays: "so make all the hardy the big events"). according to the owner of the caffe, these courses are designed for 8-10 persons. on this cursday were 20 people there. although 3 people have mercied and wanted to come back at another date, it was still too crowded. the owner knew about this problem already on the eve and unfortunately did nothing to make the best out of the situation (e.g. more cupcakes, equipment accordingly to provide or simply cancel people or at least not to withdraw the cancellations). during the course, each group produced two frostings (fresh cheese and butter cream) and a dough for muffins. Finally, the muffins, which were prepared on the day before, were decorated. The muffins are made with dinkeletal flour, which makes them harder and less fluffy, but this is a taste. butter cream is also not made from butter, but from margarine, because the owner doesn't like the butter taste.Only decorating with the cream there was freeze bag with hole - there was (on demand) to decorate 4 tulle, which were broken. for further decoration, however, there was a large selection of sugar sprouts and cookies. the dough made by the cursors was baked - but to sell it later as own products spent in the load. the teig kneading wore gloves, but for hygienic and above all qualitative reasons at least very questionable. especially a pity for the cursors, because too little muffins were there and then not the sorts that the groups had chosen. Summary of the cupcake course: much too many people, too little space, not enough equipment, only 1-3 muffins per person. the owner was not very well prepared, which she founded with "individual, puffed and different". at times she also carried her bad laune strong outwards. the floor in the load was extremely dirty and as a whole the owner's statement was not completely finished or in rebuild, since they are "first since januar" in the load (pronounced: for 6 months.) concluded: the cursor was with 25€ per person via a voucher portal (normal price is twice as high) much, much, much too expensive.I can unfortunately not recommend the cafe quietly.PS: regarding the overbooking of the course portal, the owner blamed all of them. can be true, of course, but she hasn't done any great attempts to get everything really good. this date was also the second date we had booked with her. the first date was canceled 3 days earlier with the foundation "we are on holiday." planning and organizational skills I ask from the experiences so sometimes.PPS: maybe the courses run at other days or the regular business is better.
I was already a few times in the cookie jar. finally a caffe with very good quality and very warm owners and to top preisen. I feel like in berlin or hamburg. a beautiful stylistic mix between timeless and modern. there are tasty full-fledged crêpes that I can fill according to your wishes. fresh and hot I get it served at the table. the soy brownie hot is the hammer. everything is freshly baked with dinkel itself. I can watch a la live cooking live baking :) the serrano rucola crepe is also highly recommended. You're getting tired. always like to come in.
The cookie jar was still quite new during my visit. Everything looks very improvised, little crepes and coffee were okay but nothing special, service very reserved and somewhat unhappy. would wish that the load will still gain quality, which a relaxed caffe at this place can certainly still use rüttenscheid.
After looking past the caffe twice, and it was unoccupied for one day of rest (Mondays) and the other time ten minutes after opening, I wanted to invite you – to whom a street sign drew attention – to give another last chance. The owner was very friendly and went friendly and attentive to my asking.Well to the most important: the food.I ordered vegan muffanas in two sorts: they win like most vegan baked goods maybe not a beauty contest, but make the micy appearance by price-performance ratio (1€ per piece,) their juice and the naturally sweet, tasty taste all the paints again good! I sit out of the window: these were the best vegan muffins that I could eat out so far. What I noticed: there is no independent internet site and the facebook profile is not updated every day – you don't feel well informed and something outside. a few atmospheric pictures from the loading place and a daily upload to the food would be desirable and would certainly attract some other curious ones to the caffe. also the road sign should be repainted daily smoothly, which not only brings attention, but also shows the variety of changing baked goods and a quent love to the caffe. -:)what I missed was an indication of the nutritional (calorie, additives, allergens) – somehow I had expected that, because the road sign that animated me to visit was a lot of healthy vegans, that speaks for a caffe that supports a conscious lifestyle and that includes for me tracking my food. the presentation of the baked goods could still be somewhat optimized and a small cup area could be introduced where the products are protected from falling money. that didn't happen – but almost and I would have found it very unhygienic. Overall, you realize that the caffe is still in the kinder shoes, but is operated with love. it simply lacks a small cut.
Vegan milkshake comes from the finest, only YUMMY: even the vegan crepe options are superduper tasty and fill the belly well. Can't wait to come back! So, if you get the Munchies, go there.
