Schlossterrassen - Wernigerode

This is one of those places where coast has the perfect location. It has a balcony with a great view from the castle so that most people (like us) want to have at least a bit there. We had only a quick snack and a hot chocolate and were on the way, so it was a good experience overall. The service was not bad, but also not great.

What a terrible place thanks to the terrible people who work there. So here it is, we were on the Wernigerode hill to visit the castle that, although you previously accepted pets, they then had a sign saying that they 't great! At this point the sky opened and it was like a cloud break, it was thrown down. So we and a few others tried to find shelter in this cafe castle terraces, so we thought. I asked very politely if we could come because it was raining and this terrible waitress with a face like the weather, caught us that we were not allowed for Bobby (our dog). My partner intervened and tried to point out the very obvious situation that the waitress could easily see from the front door, but she refused very rude. O and the toilets were only for customers, so we couldn't use them either. Basically it was lost despite the weather. Well, let us examine something here, the word hospitality /hreckspawntalć/ noun the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors or strangers. I don't care if we had a crazy Lion in tow, it was raining down, you'd think in a city that strongly supports tourism that the rules could occasionally be broken if they had done so that they would have been 'in sharing our money. During further research, it beat that place has a reputation for the disgusting manners we were exposed to. On another revision somewhere else I read the story of a mother about how her son fell and hit his head and created a lump when she approached the staff for some ice, they refused to leave them some unless she bought a drink. For Godsakes, this might have been a medical emergency and they even refused to serve! I add the bit n so you can really appreciate how extremely arrogant and unbearable these people were. There are in the human psyched fight, flight or freeze when I'm confronted by terrible people, you can guess which is activated in my brain. Later I returned to this involuntary dungeon and gave the waitress a really royal tick, but you could say that she just didn't get it. This ended an experience of culinary innocence! If you cannot pass the door before you get a mouthful, then there is nothing more to know; I only have a request where the hell are the administration?!

My family enjoyed our late lunch on a Sunday afternoon of soup and carving in this clean and modern coffee house. Service was excellent and there was a wide selection of dishes and cakes available.

Ich war am Spätnachmittag hier und habe lediglich etwas getrunken. Die Aussicht über Wernigerode ist kolossal. Die Bedienungen waren durch die Bank weg sehr flink und was ich von den Nachbartischen mitbekam, auch alle sehr freundlich. Ich weiß nicht, ob man unbedingt auf ein Schloß muß um zu essen, aber für Kaffee und Kuchen oder ein kühles Bier allemal.

Een Duits restaurant boven op een berg vlakbij het kasteel. Een mooie uitvalbasis na het bezoek. Ze hebben een serre waar je goed kan zitten. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het druk kan zijn. Omelet kost € 10.80 en een cola € 2.90 Ze weten wel van prijzen ( toeristisch) Mooi uitzicht
