Teddy’s Barbecue - Weslaco

Been to almost 40 of the 2021 Top 50.This place is ridiculously great BBQ. Seriously.Brisket is top 3 I have had. A tad salty......but tender, flavorful, slow smoked.......even reheated.Cheddar/Jalapeno sausage OOZED of cheese. Big ole links too.Hate beans normally. Was with the wife. She ordered beans.....WHOA!!!!!!! I wolfed down those beans.Long line on a Sunday and they ran out of ribs (which I really wanted to try) so get there early.It's one of the very best in Texas.

Made a bad choice in eating dinner here should have gone to Smoking Oaks in Mercedes. Brisket was cold, hamburger buns soaked in butter, potatoe salad so bland, the only item on their menu were the pinto beans was the only item hot and tasted like pinto beans. This place so over-priced not worth the money we paid. The main item their Brisket that wasn't worth the taste. Won't recommended to my friends, co- workers or family. SMOKING OAKS STILL ON MY CHART FOR GREAT TASTING BBQ

Best experience I have ever had from the minute I stepped into the place.Handsome gentleman welcomed Us with his friendly personality and his employees were very friendly and attentive. The Food was fresh and absolutely tasty. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for a Delicious Tasty BBQ…Very relaxing atmosphere to unwind!

Went one morning for breakfast. It was worth the wait in line outside. We have been a couple times for dinner and bring our out of town guests here! The price and joy of Weslaco! One morning it was slow and the owner’s wife herself was taking care of the dining area. We had a wonderful little conversation and it just makes you feel good when you have good food and great convos.

Came in and was blown away. Absolutely hands down recommend the pork belly, and was impressed with the barbacoa, so fresh and basically melts in your mouth, not the mention the tortillas are fresh, the egg was cooked just right, breakfast taken to a whole new level will definitely be back for
