The red beans had large chunks of fat in them, which was a bit off-putting. Despite these small issues, the overall atmosphere and service were excellent.
The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and is extremely clean. The portion sizes are generous and the food tastes great. The staff is very friendly and I will definitely be returning because of their kindness and cleanliness.
During my recent visit to Crawdaddy's, I decided to try their Creole Jambalaya once again. This dish is made with a tomato-based sauce and includes shrimp, andouille sausage, and tasso ham. Despite the small size of the ingredients, the flavor was spot on. The shrimp was easily identifiable, but the other meats were more subtle. The dish had just the right amount of heat, which could be adjusted with the hot sauces provided. I had been disappointed during my last visit to Crawdaddy's 7 months ago, but I'm happy to report that they have improved since then.
I liked the old Crawdaddys down on Greenfield. There menu use to be a lot bigger. Their old menu was bigger and better. They use to serve a stuffed eggplant with crawfish shrimp rice and their honey glazed carrots. That was the best!!
Excellent blackened cod. Very nice server. Temperature was cold in the restaurant. Wear a sweater.
