Ho-chunk Grill - West Baraboo

Food quality needs some help. Chicken and rice soup is bland, needs some herbs and seasoning in general. Burger was mushy as if it was frozen going on the griddle. Burger was seasoned decently however.

Used to go for Christmas dinner every year for many years when it was still upstairs. Have not been in 6 years. Went this year and it was a total disappointment. When they were still upstairs it was wall to wall with food and deserts. There was half of each with the price twice as much. You also now have to walk right through the casino, not around which isn’t the best if you have kids.

The price was $33 per person. The staff at front register were stand offish and most unpleasant. The food selection was average, we 've had better at Pizza Ranch! The food itself was not prepared properly. The green bean casserole was indeed a joke. The chicken both fried and barbecued was dry as the desert. The corn was soaked in butter but no taste at all. Even the salad was a disappointment as it had mostly thick center pieces like a cabbage. Save your money and time do not eat here. The only staff that was pleasant was the nice lady at the dessert bar and the older gentleman walking around doing odds and ends. Horrible!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! $33 what a joke!!! Lack of selection was absolutely pathetic. The food was gross and not appetizing.
