Timmer's Resort - West Bend

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner last night in Timmers for an impromptu date night. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the Big Cedar Lake and Resort beaches. The terrace was pretty busy, but the service was on site. The special Panzanella salad of the chef was fantastic and a perfect starter for our meal. My husband added a chicken breast and it was actually very well cooked, not dried/cooked a bit. We had the mussels appetizer (as Entree) and another cook special of seafood scampi for our dinner entrees-both were fantastic! The seafood was perfectly cooked. So often one finds over boiled seafood, especially in a mixed seafood dish like these seafood scampi, but the scallops, shrimps and lobsters were all cooked for perfection! We enjoyed a drink after dinner at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. We can't wait to go back. The weekly specials published on Facebook have been unbelievable last night and I'm sure they'll bring us back soon!
