The Hatchet - West Berkshire

The senior management team has done a great job with this restaurant, which boasts a spacious terrace and a larger back area. The interior is clean and offers many options for privacy. I opted for a non-alcoholic beverage as I was driving. I can see this place being very popular on Saturdays, especially during race days.

On a rainy and windy Sunday evening after a race, we found a fantastic and welcoming pub with delicious food and drinks. Where else can you get a bottle of wine for £6.99 besides a supermarket! My wife enjoyed a jacket potato with roasted vegetables, while I indulged in a spicy and flavorful beef madras. The place was bustling, even for a Sunday, and we would definitely recommend it.

Since my early days as a boy, I have always avoided Wetherspoons like the plague. I used to think of them as high street pubs where young people went to cause trouble. However, I have now become a huge fan! After visiting some of their locations last year, it's clear to me that the chain has made a concerted effort to make their establishments clean, inviting, and family-friendly. The Hatchet Inn is no exception. We dined there today and had a lovely experience. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were unbelievably cheap! I have no idea how they do it. The service was excellent, the staff was attentive, the tables were clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The beer garden is a wonderful spot to enjoy a delicious meal and a cold pint on a sunny afternoon. I will definitely be back here again.

Very friendly, helpful review in personal. the rooms are beautiful, warm rooms, great showers, comfortable bed. good quality towels and bed linen. the glittering water was a beautiful note and they had a good selection of coffees and tees etc. no vegan milk but I was very excited to find they do pipes of milk down now! I found the lack of care products disappointing I did not shampoo conditioner as they are always delivered and there were only body laundry delivered, but if they avoid using plastic, I agree, but they could have another wall dispenser. I think it's a conus that they don't get breakfast, but they make it clear that it's extra. our room overlooked the main street and there was music playing at 12:30 a.m. when we went to bed. I woke up shortly after a club was closed with an autoalarm, but as it is a time building, I doubt they can have double glazing. I would be back here all in all that was a good experience, it is a beautiful quirky hotel room all over the place.

Brilliant breakfast for little cost. The big breakfast was yummy and the toast was perfectly crisp. Pancakes for my wide were amazing. We both loved our visit. Well looked after and very well presented.
