The Mill At Thatcham - West Berkshire

My friend and I brought our kids to The Mill House on Friday because of its nice outdoor seating area. The kids were hungry, so we ordered pizzas, nachos, and more, and it was all delicious. I usually have a hard time finding gluten and dairy-free options at Italian restaurants, but to my surprise, I was able to order a wood-fired pizza with a gluten-free base and dairy-free cheese, and it was amazing. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The staff were friendly, the prices were fair, and the outdoor space kept the kids entertained. It's not common to find a pub that caters to people with food intolerances like this, so I will definitely be returning.

Well new management. However nothing seems to have changed. If the place looks open that means its about to close. Staff don't really want to work. They would rather be out on a fag break. At 22:00 tonight, thats Saturday 29 January 2022, they asked for last orders. To me that says it all. Anyway make you’re own mind up but be warned.

Shame to see this but as we left rats running around the car park. popped to ask the chef a question and well the kitchen was a shock. Dirty plates everywhere food on the floor. The toilets broken. No light bulb in mens toilet. Shame really. Needs some attention.

Amazing family pub, friendly staff always feel welcome, the pub is 100% on the rise from what it was.

Absolute fantastic find!! We would highly recommend the Millhouse. Came here with my family and from walking in had amazing customer service to leaving. Food was amazing and will be returning!!
