New York bagels are one of my favorite treats in Michigan, and this location is perfectly convenient for picking up a dozen bagels and cream cheese to share with my family about once a week. The bagels and cream cheese are definitely five-star quality. However, the service can be hit or miss, as it’s primarily a takeout place and depends on the staff. While some clerks are friendly and polite, there are a few who exhibit a rude demeanor, complete with eye rolling and a negative attitude. For instance, when I requested a small container of cream cheese for my aunt, one clerk rolled her eyes and questioned why I didn't want a larger size. I explained that my aunt specifically needed a small container, which only seemed to make her even ruder. Despite these occasional poor experiences, I wouldn’t discourage anyone from visiting. Just stand your ground and order what you need. Keep in mind that they close at 2 PM.

I have always ordered NY Bagels via Uber Eats and they always came to me fresh and nicely packed. I love all their bagels as well as the cream cheese. And yes, the best bagels so far.

I’ve been going to this place for about 7 years. I always get an everything bagel. Over this period of time I’ve seen them go from packing BOTH sides of the bagel with the everything seed mix, to one side, to basically none. It definitely got worse over the pandemic. I’m appreciative of how tough times are right now, and the bread of the bagels themselves are phenomenal, but I miss the days when both sides were properly seasoned.

These guys make the best bagels in SE Michigan. Hands down. If you like bagels, look no further.

New York bagel has been around for years and years Best bagels always fresh. Great for lunch sandwiches too bagel with fresh cream cheese and lox or the wonderful homemade tuna is the best. The staff is always helpful and friendly. You may need to wait in line or for a order when they get busy , the staff dose everthing possible to get things done quickly and right Unfortunately I have seen several very rude customers and the staff hndell them well. I go here a couple times a week it's the best!!
