Smashburger - WEST BLOOMFIELD

The food was decent; the burger was good, but the fries were excessively oily. It doesn't compare to California. I rated this place one star because the kitchen staff was incredibly rude, and I had to restrain myself from saying something.

I visited for the first time and found that they were short-staffed, so only takeout was available. It took a moment to place my order, but the cashier was friendly and doing her best to move the line along. My food arrived quickly and was fresh! I really enjoyed it, though I wish they had Brussels sprouts on the menu.

They aren't allowing dining inside, which is why SmashBurger is closing its locations. A business can't succeed if it doesn't serve its customers—today alone, they lost $140 in sales. I have a big family, and we were ready to order full meals and milkshakes, but instead, we left empty-handed.

There were only 2 ladies working 1 in the kitchen and 1at the register. I was immediately greeted and advised of the situation as well each customer who arrived after me. Great Job ladies!!! You both deserve a raise. Excellent customer service as always. Additionally, every time the young lady took an order she washed her hands before handling the food and she does this all the time!!! I wish i could give 20 stars!!

Went here for lunch. Waited in line for 15 minutes as I watched the lady bag pick-up orders (doordash). She then announced that they were too backed up on doordash orders and weren’t taking any in-store customer orders. Which is ridiculous. She handed us a free fountain for waiting and sent us out the door.
