We got the assorted box with half a dozen. The doughnuts are super pricey but it is good to try for the experience. The filling wasn't too sweet.
Well, the concept of this place was inviting, I mean, cream puffs? Delicious! But what brought me in were the Pastel de Natas or, as this place called them, Português custard tarts. Well I’ve been to Portugal and have enjoyed these delicious treats. So when I saw them I had to try one. Well I was very dissatisfied. First off, the custard was not custard. It tased like eggs with a bit of sugar added. There was no creamy custard texture to them. They were actually gross. As a side note to eggs, the establishment smelled like eggs. I’d say, fly to Portugal if you can and by them in Belem. Good day.
It took forever to get service when there is absolutely no one there. Then I ate the cream puff and it was bland. The filling was broken was disgusting which made it unbearable to eat. I’ll stick with the ones I get at the state fair in my home state. They are a million times better.
They ignore the online pickup line when people are at the register. The worst thing you can do is prioritize new orders over a person that's been waiting 10-15 minutes.
