Firelake Grill House And Cocktail

Our experience was great like always! We are in town 4-5 times a year and we bring our guests here every time now. We've enjoyed breakfast, dinner, just drinks and a charcuterie board and nothing ever disappoints.

The service that we had was awful, our server messed up our drink orders and food orders. The food lacked flavor and the portions were small for the price. We had a group of 6 and they automatically added on the gratuity which the server did not deserve. We will not be returning.

It was my first time to this restaurant. It was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was attentive and provided us what we wanted. It was a really good experience for my first time.

The seasoning on the filet was outstanding! We enjoyed our meal. This could be a really nice restaurant if the service staff was more interactive. We just didn't connect on any level more personable. The ladies...two stalls one sink...really? I'm not sure who laid all this out, but bigger bathroom, relate to customer... we will be back, but hoping for revamp. Just trying to help. We eat out a lot in the cities. Tx!!

While food tasted good, it was not well prepared. Waited 20 min for ours drinks (diet Coke and latte) to come out and waited 45 mins total for our food. Ordered classic Eggs Benedict. Poached eggs were over done (hard yolks)and dried out. Hollandaise sauce was also drying out. Clearly had been sitting under heat lamps for quite a while. Asparagus was a single spear that had been split lengthwise and over cooked. But the flavor of the eggs Benedict was very good. Shame it was all over cooked and allowed to sit. Also ordered the classic two eggs, bacon and wheat toast. Eggs were ordered fried over easy but came out sunnyside up and were VERY under cooked to point of almost not edible. Toast consisted of a SINGLE slice of bread. Bacon was ordered extra crispy but came out barely cooked to edible doneness. Waiter never checked back on food satisfaction or if additional drinks were wanted. We would have sent food back if we hadn't waited so long for it the first time. Not sure why it took so long and no attention from waiter as restaurant was not very busy. Bill was $40 which would have been ok if service was better and food was prepared well. Disappointing since flavors were really good and restaurant atmosphere is very nice.
