But I was a little disappointed in the Mac n cheese, and the banana pudding. It was not as good as I'd remembered. My collards, baked beans and pulled pork were awesome though. Bring back the old banana pudding and the baked mac n cheese please.
My pulled pork sandwich was incredible and it smells as good as it tastes. Highly recommend.
They have the BEST pulled chicken! I am not a big meat eater at all, but I prefer to eat this without sauce because it's so moist and delicious. It's complemented perfectly with sweet tea and corn pudding.
We ordered 10 ribs for carryout and not one was edible . We love the place , but these ribs should never had been served .
This local outpost of the Indianapolis based, 9-state BBQ chain is famous for their American Royal winning brisket. Counter service is quick but can still line up during peak times, especially with the busy menu behind the counter challenging some with sight issues. Your food comes out quick, and with a smile as you are called to pick it up from the counter. They really don't have any misses when it comes to the BBQ staples and sides. There is a salad on the menu, which they invite you to put meat on, of course. There are 5 sauces to choose from ranging from traditional to mustard or vinegar to hot or sweet. The sauces and silverware are self-serve, though the layout of this particular location might have you accidentally behind the pickup station trying to get them. They are on the far wall by the bathrooms. You bus your own dishes here too. It is one of our go-to places every time we are in town.
