Perkins Bakery - West Chester

This Perkins is located directly on Interstate 75 near Cincinnati. The food was surprisingly good and proportionally appropriate. The staff was attentive, thoughtful and interacted with customers like a 5 star restaurant. The cook even came out to inquire about our satisfaction with the meal. They actually deserve this great review that they have treated each of their customers with such a grave and grace.

I recently tried the steak and potatoes at this restaurant, and while the flavors were good, the meat was quite tough. I wish I had ordered breakfast instead. I did enjoy the potato pancakes served with apple sauce, which were delightful, and I saved a blueberry muffin for later in the day—it was fantastic. The atmosphere of the place was lovely, and everything was clean. However, it did take a while for our bill to be processed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Great food and excellent service! The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

If we're craving pancakes, Perkins is our go-to spot. They serve the best pancakes we've found anywhere—light, fluffy, and they practically melt in your mouth. While the service can occasionally be a bit slow, which we experienced during our last visit, that's not typical. On that visit, my wife ordered the Turkey and Dressing, and it was fantastic. No matter the time of day or what we've ordered, everything has been well-prepared and delicious. Perkins is not just for breakfast; if you haven't had the chance to try it yet, you definitely should. I don't think you'll be disappointed!
