The Wise Owl - West Chester

Great place with excellent music to enjoy with close friends over a couple of drinks.

I do not recommend this restaurant for events. We attempted to host a corporate event in their private room with 40-50 people. We had spoken with the owner/manager beforehand and requested two servers. We also sent in a list of food and wine for pre-order so they could prepare accordingly. However, upon arrival, only two bottles of wine (out of six requested) and one charcuterie tray (out of many food items pre-ordered) were ready. There were no servers available for our group, and it seemed like only the owner/manager was working. Although another staff member eventually arrived, she never entered our room. The patrons at the bar received more attention and service than our group. It was difficult to get water pitchers and additional food brought out to our group, despite multiple requests. We were told to be patient because they had a small kitchen, even though we had pre-ordered. No one offered service in our private room unless we specifically asked the owner to come in and serve our guests. Wine glasses had to be requested multiple times before they were provided. Our guests had to go to the bar themselves to order drinks and more wine. If we had received adequate service, we would have likely spent much more money. However, our group left hungry, thirsty, and very disappointed. We will not be returning.

This restaurant is an amazing spot for celebrating a birthday. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The quality of the mixed drinks can vary depending on the bartender, but the wine selection is extensive and impressive.

We came after the kitchen was closed, and they did say we could order out and eat it there. The owner/s, bartenders, and ppl inside were nice and receptive to my guest and I. Great Vibe, good ppl Cheers ? ?? . Well be

Loved the place. Our server was excellent and the food was awesome. Will come back again.
