Went for Sunday buffet and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, employees were very nice, and the cook walked around to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals. I will definitely be back! The black eyed peas, creamed corn, and meats were my favorite. Banana pudding was really good also.
The buffet is small but very good food. The squash and macaroni n cheese were delicious. People were very nice. You basically serve yourself and the place is not fancy but its clean. $12 for adults includes buffet, dessert and drink (tea, lemonade or water). CASH ONLY, though an ATM is onsite. I will definitely visit again but earlier. We arrived an hour before closing so they were not refreshing things as often. However, we were full when we left and they asked us which dessert(s) we wanted and got them for us from the kitchen.
EXCELLENT FOOD!!!!! If you are looking for a down home, good old fashioned, tastes like grandma cooked it from scratch on a Sunday afternoon meal this is the place for you! The dining room isn't fancy but the staff was extremely friendly and made my wife and I feel completely at home. Absolutely hated to leave and can't wait to go back!!
Recently my Grandmother invited me to The Secret Garden for Sunday dinner. I wasn 't sure what I was getting myself into, but, I decided to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did! The food is incredible and they have everything you 'd want from fried chicken, meatloaf and cubed steak to rutabagas, mac 'n cheese, collard greens, and stewed squash. Thinking about dessert, the peach cobbler is amazing! Mr. Poole, the owner, is an incredibly kind man who makes you feel like you are the most important person in his restaurant. Please send this man your business, he 's as good as it gets!
