Contribuisci feedbackDecember 2022 Party of 4, Saturday at 6 pm. Estimated 1 hour waiting. Food/price $26 for 8 ounces Lamb konbu (based anointed broth brown rice. Meat quality was ok and all vegetables and noodles were still partially frozen, making them difficult to cook. Service/Ambiance The ventilation system in the restaurant works either not well or not at all. It was full and damp in there, reminded me of Clubbing in Winter Lol. The solution of the staff was to leave the front door open 'for just a few minutes' they told us, but it turned into 30 minutes. As a result, our legs were ice cold, but our faces were warm due to our soups and lack of aeration. It was not a pleasant meal, especially for the price. They also charge extra for broth, which is more tasty (like the bovine broth, etc. and brown rice. Parking The parking lot was quite packed, but we had no problem finding a place.
I go to this place since I was a child and ordered the same things for the last 18 years, I think 18 years, I was a child, so I don't know how exactly I started. The original owners were great, a married couple that served us well and felt like family. I was sad to hear that they sold the company. The new owners took over about a decade ago, I think, but fortunately they kept the same ponzu recipe. It is my absolute favorite and as I said before it is the same order every time I go: AYCE Premium Beef because it is softer and easier to chew compared to Wagyu. Wagyu taste better, but I eat about 2lbs meat and premium beef is easy to eat. If you order AYCE, your options are 4 orders of meat or vegetables. An order is about 4 ounces of meat, I order 4 plates for 1lb meat. Then I order another one if they bring it out. Usually I hold at 2lbs because it is a good level of fullness. But I could order two more plates if I feel brave. You get 3 options for diving sauce, but I just get the most important: ponzu. All you can eat: $31 for regular $38 for premium items. I get a premium. As a rule, I ended everything in an hour or half an hour when I take with friends who are usually the time limit anyway. 1.5 hours. All in all this long story can be summarized in one sentence: as long as they retain this Ponzu recipe, he is no longer coming back. If you're a meathead like me, you'll come back. Also it will close at 7 a.m., so if you have a large group that I call first so that they can make room for you.
That was my first time here. We were there early at 5:00 and sat and waited immediately. The vegetables are fresh and clean. The thin meat was fresh and there was more than enough to make you happy. Each family had favorite soups there, but by far, the Miso soup was both the most tasteful. I added a spoon of garlic and it was the perfect broth each agreed. Nothing else was necessary. Our server, Jasmine was attentive and friendly to our party of seven. We'll all be together or separated again! Perfect for a date night or with friends! We all get this restaurant very well. $21-$31 per person depending on the protein selection.
It is a good place, but there is not cheap, but again it is a beautiful place meat are on the call and you get about 1 hour 30min to eat at the buffet
This is definitely a good place for AYCE Japanese shabu shabu. I would give it 80-85 out of 100. However, here are three things I need to say. Hopefully, the owner of the restaurant will see and can make improvements. 1. There were sand in clams! Lots of sand so that we didn?t order any clams after the first round. 2. Not sure if the staff misunderstood or the meat was mislabeled in the kitchen? They told us that meat in photo #1 was ?premium beef? and in photo #2 was ?Wagyu?. That doesn?t make sense at all! Are you serious?? 3. The calamari tasted okay but it had a thin but extremely strong film on the surface? see the 3rd picture? That was funny?
