Dino's Grill - West Des Moines

The menu features classic bar food, and it's quite tasty. The bartenders were very attentive, which made for a great service experience. I honestly don't have much more to add.

This was my first visit, and we were unaware that the ownership had changed recently along with much of the menu. Unfortunately, this was disappointing because we were really looking forward to trying their famous calzones. However, we did enjoy the seafood nachos, especially the scallops, which were our favorite part with their perfect flavor. I would definitely return just for those! I want to mention the new owner, who provided very kind service. Although the service was a bit slow due to being short-staffed, the owner took the time to ask for our feedback on how they could improve, which I appreciated. He also noticed that we barely touched our meals and kindly adjusted our bill accordingly. With an approach like that, I sincerely hope he finds success! It’s just unfortunate to see popular dishes removed from the menu with new ownership.
