Scooter's Coffee - West Des Moines

The coffee here is excellent, with a less creamy or milky texture compared to some other places. It has a unique aftertaste that might be due to artificial sweetener, although I'm not entirely certain. The staff are really friendly, and the bagel was fantastic too.

Typically, they provide good service, but I would suggest double-checking your orders. They accidentally gave me an iced coffee with caramel instead of a caramel latte. I was in a hurry and didn’t realize it until later.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the amazing ladies at Scooters today! I had a little accident with my previous coffee order that left my car—and my dog—smelling like coffee. They were so kind to replace it, and it truly brightened my morning. Thank you so much, Bailey!

I drove 20 miles out of my way only to discover they were out of pumpkin spice flavor. How is that even possible? The manager obviously has many responsibilities, but ensuring that pumpkin spice is in stock should be a top priority. Unfortunately, I had to revise my review from 5 stars to 1...

I often find that my drink order is wrong more than half the time, and I've noticed that the price for my drink changes daily, even though I always order the same thing. I get that prices can go up, but it’s frustrating to encounter a new price every time I come in. Overall, I'm really disappointed with the inconsistency at this location, and the lack of enthusiasm from the staff makes me feel unwelcome.
