Palmer's Of Tavistock - West Devon

Wonderful pork pies best in town. Very friendly people and a good array of cuts of meat. Their sausages are really good as is the belly pork. They also stock Creedy Carvers which is very good free range chicken.

Duncan and his team are both professional and friendly. We use their produce for our pub and the meat is of the highest quality and local. Daily deliveries ensures we get the freshest of produce. Would highly recommend their home cooked scotch eggs and pork pies which we sell as bar snacks and they don’t last long!

This is a wonderful traditional butcher shop. Their cooked meats and pasties are excellent. The pasties tend to sell out fast, but if you call ahead and let them know what time you'll be there, they will set aside the ones you want.

When in Tavistock its a must for me to visit palmers, the staff are very helpful and friendly and always do there best to help when choosing something different. I have been trying their sausages and can recommend the crackle black pepper, nor over peppery but enough to enhance the flavour of a great butchers sausage. It's around £3.60 to £3.80 for 6 large sausages that are superb. As with all butchers they do all the usual meats and cuts but they carry many other tasty delights such as locally produced mustard and chutney .

The service at this restaurant is exceptional! I placed an order one day and it was delivered the following morning. The produce is of high quality, the staff is wonderful, and the website for ordering is user-friendly.
