Popped on when passing to warm up and found they are doing a special of mulled wine and a mincevpie for £4.50. Don't mind if I do. The other food on offer looks nice, cso will he returning
The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. For only £8.50, the quality of the food makes it a very enjoyable experience, especially in this economic climate.
I'm sure many customers have had fantastic meals and sandwiches but being charged £8.50 for a basic sandwich of ham and cheddar cheese crumbles from a packet and a pot of tea was pretty extortionate. Having just arrived in the town, desperate for sustenance as everything was closing and minutes before I had to go into Yeatman hospital well, just felt I'd been exploited. Had I known Nero was two doors above I could have had a coffee and meat bap for under a fiver.
It has a good position on Cheap Street with average service and drinks. Not tried them but some competitors may be better
