The owners and staff are always friendly and accommodating, willing to accommodate reasonable requests such as making a dish spicier or addressing valid criticisms like overly salty dishes.
What a hotel,,clean, warm, cosy you really feel at home.you could not find better friendlier staff any where in scotland
My family recently dined at this restaurant, which included 9 adults, including one in a wheelchair, and a toddler. The staff were extremely accommodating, ensuring we had a suitable accessible table and even providing pens and coloring sheets to keep our tired 2-year-old entertained. The service was quick and efficient, with no long waits for our starters and mains. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, as the portions were generous. Overall, we had no complaints and were too full for dessert. We will definitely be returning when we are back in the area!
This is a very good place for a lunch, preferably in the restaurant: nothing against the lounge bar as such, but you get windows you can see out of in the restaurant. The menu is extensive, well cooked, and includes a range of pescatorian and vegetarian options.
The portion sizes at this restaurant have noticeably decreased, which makes it feel like less of a value for the price. While the food is still tasty, the smaller portions are disappointing compared to past experiences.
