The sandwiches were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and also quite sizable. The omelets were also impressive, with fillings placed on the inside rather than mixed with the eggs and cooked together like at most other places.
I recently discovered an amazing variety of ice cream and boba tea flavors at this place. As a traveler passing through Connecticut, I highly recommend everyone to give it a try. Some of my favorite flavors include Graham Cracker, Mocha Mud Pie, and Cake Batter. I also enjoy flavors like Extreme Chocolate and Mint Chips. Additionally, they offer a wide selection of fruit flavors for those who prefer them.
We stopped by for a quick lunch and only stayed for about 15 minutes. The food was amazing, but I am definitely coming back for their breakfast. My daughter loved the pancakes and I thoroughly enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak. My wife had a cheeseburger which she also enjoyed. I couldn't resist grabbing a chocolate shake to go, and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back for dessert next time!
Came back for late night ice cream, although I live 30 min away. I sunk the reeces while it's 10 bucks worth every penny. The ice cream is just so good and freshly tasted. One of my favorite things about a parasol from here is added the fresh whipped cream above. I don't think they're sweetening it at all and adding a wow factor by not being so sweet as everything else is in it. I have to try the food, but menu sees appetite. I'm sure I'm back for ice and if you think about trying it, do it. You won't regret it.
The first time i went here was 50 years ago. I walked into a hornets nest, I was told I'd probably have to wait an hour or more. Apparently they were dealing with technical difficulties in the kitchen. In 20 minutes they sat me and said the issues were maybe solved, I drank my coffee and water until they could tell me they were all set. Eventually I ordered a Hungry (Minnesota) Viking, my waitress was a little off kilter,, of the choices that were available, I got 2 eggs overeasy, wheat toast, homemade corned beef and Brussel Sprouts. I've never seen Brussel Sprouts on a breakfast menu before, they were good, the top Sprouts were a little cold and they were probably left overs. The overeasy eggs were overeasy, the homemade corned beef hash was very very good, pretty much all corned beef with tasty potato bites. When I paid, I noticed I got an extra $1.29 charged for the Brussel sprouts, they credited me begrudgingly, however, I wouldn't have gotten them but I thought they'd be nice to review and, they have 4 choices of potatoes 2 of which I wanted to try, but the menu cleary shows them as part of the Hungry Viking.
