Beachland Tavern - West Hartford

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is even better! I highly recommend it for anyone in the West Hartford Newington area. They offer great starters and entrees at a reasonable price. The restaurant is clean and the service is top-notch, which is rare to find these days. Definitely worth checking out!

I went to this restaurant for lunch today to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was my first time there, but it definitely won't be my last. The waitress provided excellent service and our meal was incredibly delicious. I highly suggest trying this place out. Delicious!

We visited the restaurant at 2:30 in the afternoon and found that only 3 tables were occupied. It took 40 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order, and at one point we had to go to the bar ourselves. The staff seemed to be more focused on talking to each other than serving customers. The chicken parm sliders we ordered were undercooked, but unfortunately, they did not remove them from the bill. Overall, there are many other options in town to choose from.

Beachland Tavern was great!! Service from Julie was fast and friendly. Interior of restaurant is really nice and was busy on a Friday at 5:30pm. Cauliflower appetizer is fantastic and just about perfectly prepared and tasting. Burnt Ends also tasted amazing and we're so tender. Much better than real BBQ places. Only problem with the burnt ends was the cat food serving size portion. Way to small for the price. The Brooklyn sandwich is filled with flavor and definitely a great choice. Seared salmon sandwich also a nice combination of flavors. Both sandwiches were upper scale feeling. Cheesecake is ok. Overall Beachland Tavern was a great dinner experience.

The wings were really good. However, the service was slow, and it wasn't very busy. My mahi tacos were decent (I wouldn't order them again), but I did enjoy the side of mac and cheese.
