Hall's Kitchen - West Hartford

My wife and I love going to Halls restaurant. We recently purchased some black and blue burgers on Saturday 6/7 and grilled them that night. They were great, so I had one for lunch today. We also bought two T-bone steaks and grilled them tonight. After a long day at work and grilling over a hot grill, these steaks were amazing! They were tender, juicy, and had amazing flavor. The food at Halls is always top-notch. Great job!

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I visited today around noon to pick up some steaks for my wife's birthday. However, when I went to pay, I was asked if I wanted paper or plastic. When I chose plastic, the young cashier made a comment that seemed judgmental. I felt embarrassed by the remark.

Hall's Kitchen is located separate from the market and offers a daily hot lunch menu, a selection of pre-made salads, frozen entrees, and also provides catering services. I recently tried two of their lunches and both were delicious. I had the salmon on Caesar salad for $10 and the garlic pork tenderloin over rice with gravy for a very affordable $6. The portions were generous and the service was friendly. They also have weekly specials available.

We have been to both Hall’s Kitchen and Hall’s Market right next door several times. The latest was this week and we felt a review was in order. Halls has take out dinners, Hot, Cold refrigerated , and frozen. The dinners are complete and much like going to a very good restaurant. I had Chicken Cordon-blue with rice and my wife had Lobster stuffed ravioli with wine sauce. My wife is a real Lobster fan and is usually very critical regarding its quality. She said it was the best she ever had and then picked up the next ravioli that had almost a full claw inclosed within the pasta, she was delighted. Great place at a reasonable price.

The menu at this restaurant is limited in options, but they recently started offering a new campfire burger that is not to be missed! They also have the Beyond Burger available in the freezer.
