Stopped by to grab a quick burrito to go. Even though they were quite busy I only waited about ten minutes. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I got a steak burrito which was very good. It was a reasonable size not a huge gut bomb. The steak was thin sliced and tender. I'll be back to try other things on the menu.
Nice place, friendly people and delicious food. I tried the pozole and it was really good. The tamal too and there are all the flavors of tamal mole, verde, rojo, dulce etc) and the horchata water finally I tried after a lot of time. Respect to chicken fajitas we tried the other day and we were a little disappointed because it was not good and there are more onion, peppers but just a few pieces of chicken.
We've been frequenting this place since it opened. We have always had a very good experience here. Food always tastes freshly-prepared you can watch them cook it from the dining area) the service is friendly, and the prices are very good. Yes it's a hole in the wall and you may not get seating because it's so small, so get takeout and enjoy it at home. This is one of our two favorite Mexican restaurants in the Greater Hartford area.
Still one of my favorite area Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff complements a varied menu and family-friendly environment. Seating is limited in this corner establishment, but food arrives quickly and there's a decent turnover. Prices have increased within the last year, but are still reasonable. Favorites are the variety of a la carte tacos (chorizo and spicy beef are among the best), tamale, and weekend posole! Great for a quick stop or relaxed meal. A selection of domestic and imported beer is available.
Small neighborhood spot. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. The chimichanga was crispy just like we like it. The tamales were both good, though the one with red sauce was the favorite. The queso looks like cheese whiz, but more tasty. The service was very pleasant. We'll definitely visit again.
