Pokemoto - West Hartford

I enjoy poke bowls, but I must admit that this one was not my favorite out of all that I have tried.

Staff is amazing and food is delicious. Staff is quick and very nice to give recommendations

Best vegan poke I've had in the area. More toppings than other places, better sauces, fill more of the bowl with fun stuff other than rice.Vegetarian options: Actually feels like you get your money's worth with how many toppings they put on it

I usually go here a couple times a month and everything tastes good and looks fresh, but this time the toppings were brown and dry(mango, avocado, wasabi) and the lettuce was brown and wilted which deterred me from getting certain items..and the bowl I got just had a funky smell and taste when I went to eat it. Just not as fresh as usual and raw fish and other fresh raw ingredients is not something to let go bad...I didn't even want to finish my bowl.

I love a good Poke bowl and the ones I get from Pokemoto are some of the best in Central CT.The ingredients are always fresh and they have no problem whenever I ask for extra pickled Ginger. I also love the option to get a hot miso soup that is the perfect compliment to round out my meal.AND during my last visit I was so pleased to find out that when I checked in there was a BOGO deal score!Street parking can be a bit tricky depending on when you go but there is parking behind the building.I know that I am always going to get a nutritious and satisfying meal when every I decide to stop in.
