We had made an agreement with the party coordinator trusting her to what she promised and what the paper work said. We should have seen red flags when we were working with her, since she would not return calls after days. We were trying to get together a week before the party to finalize the agreement. She also was very hard to work with; she did not know how to send a fax and always made up excuses as to why this was not done as we agreed. The day came and the DJ was late, the party coordinator disappeared about 80 percent of the time. My family had served some drinks on their own and also cleaned up a spill in the floor because no one was around to clean it. It was at the end that the party coordinator came to help and only because she noticed I complained after so many times. We tried to get her attention twice, the first time she was eating, the second she said she would be there in five minutes and never came until hours later. The bartender gave us an attitude when I kindly asked him to pass water and sodas and make sure the guests did not need anything else. Just like other restaurants would do or what was expected. He was literally standing there bickering how upset he was. We did not need that, we were trying to have fun and this guy was upset because he did not want to pass drinks around. Laziness?? We tried to make the best out of it without their help. It was only after I complained several times that someone did something about it. They replaced the bartender with a lady who we believe was owner but she denied it. I decided to call the owner the following day to let her know of our disappointment. When I called I asked if she was the owner, she said yes this is the owner, I requested her name and she hung up on me. I do not recommend stargazer. They have promises and will tell you what you want to hear just so you can sign their contract. They expect to be pay in full before the party, something we should have opposed. The only good thing is that my family pull themselves together and worked together to entertain the crowd since the party coordinator disappeared. The DJ ended up entertaining because she was not there. That was not the agreement. It is not right and we shouldn’t have had to gone through all that stress to check up on them if we had an agreement and pay for all the services ion advanced. This place is full of false promises, and bad service. The one good thing was the food, it was not delicious but it was reasonable… not enough to make up for the bad moments we had with them. Bottom Line: Do not Recomended Service: BAD Entertainment: BAD Food: Good – the one plate we had and salad – can’t tell you about the rest of their menu Place: Good – looks nice but don’t judge a book by its cover
The High Tea is special in DecemberThere is a harp & a piano, a lit Menorah & a lit Christmas tree, and a glowing fireplace.
Some days you ought to give yourself more credit than just a dry chuckle.
After staying here Im a bit baffled that they can maintain a 5 diamond ratingIt really is only 4 stars.
