Trust me, their falafel is top-notch! Don’t pass up the opportunity to try it. My personal favorite is when it's served with tahini sauce in a wrap. If you love it as much as I do, ask if they can make some for you to take home. You can find them at the Mar Vista Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles, California on Sundays. I discovered Ihsan's falafel while strolling around the USC Farmers Market on Wednesdays at 11:00 am in McCarthy Quad, and I was amazed. I looked at the menu and decided to try the green falafel wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. The pickled vegetables added a nice crunchy texture and flavor to the wrap. It was a generous portion, and even though I didn't plan on finishing the whole thing, I couldn't resist and ended up eating it all. I didn't feel overly full afterwards, which is a sign that their ingredients are fresh and well-prepared. I will definitely be coming back again, but only on Wednesdays!
Having lived in Southern California, I have tried many Mediterranean restaurants and always favored falafel wraps. However, after trying chef Amin's traditional Sudanese falafel made from scratch, I knew I could never go back. These falafel are the best I've ever had, and I can't imagine eating falafel from anywhere else. They are organic, vegan, gluten-free, and macrobiotic. I bought the falafel mix from Ihsan's Falafel cart and found it easy to make these delicious falafel at home for a quick, healthy dinner. The spicy peanut butter sauce they offer is also fantastic. Their wraps are filled with Amin's personal quinoa tabouli recipe, salad, sprouts, and falafel, making them the best pita wraps I've ever tried. I can confidently say that if you haven't tried Ihsan's falafel, you haven't truly experienced good falafel unless you grew up in the Middle East like chef Amin.
Really big falafels that is different from other falafels. delicious! I have the whole wheat pita, but hope the collar wrap again. they found them on the hollywood sunday farmer market.
