When I got home I was missing both gravys for my chicken strip basket (I had clarified i would get 2) I called to ask if I could be credited a small amount to my card because by time Iran to pick some up, my food would be cold. They offered to remake it, I agreed. Drove back out, got home, opened the gravyand it was straight liquid gravy. It was disgusting looking. When I called again, the kid who said he was the manager said hetole me they were short staffed, he hadn 't and that wasn 't my issue. He refused to repeat the number for the store owner thentold me if I wanted a refund I 'd have to come out (3rd time driving back) he was rude. I also didn 't eat the remake of thefood because of how he behaved, I was afraid they did something to the food they remade to be punks. I will not be visitingthis dairy queen again, bad service, disrespectful, disgusting food. I dont even know how they managed to make the gravyliquid like that before putting it in the order. I had to call corporate to get any information as the manager refused. Photoadded to show how liquid the gravy was.
I hope my experience is atypical. We arrived at about 7pm in the drive through lane. It took about ten minutes for two cars ahead of us to advance. We ordered our food and were told after we had ordered three burgers that burgers might take a while,around ten minutes. We paid. They gave us the wrong drink for the kids meal. We were asked to pull ahead and wait. Afterhalf an hour waiting I went inside to see what was going on. They appeared to be short on staff. It took five minutes forsomeone to acknowledge me and when I asked how much longer it would be he was confused and asked if I had a receipt. I couldsee the monitors and knew my order was on them, but the kid didn't seem to know what was going on. Eventually the manager toldthe kid he was working on ours, but the kid didn't relay that information on to me. The manager also told the kid who asked onmy behalf to offer us a discount for the long wait. He didn't. Twenty minutes later they finally brought food out to us (50minutes waiting). It was cold. They didn't give us the kids meal and they didn't remember that one burger was supposed to haveno cheese, and they substituted regular cheeseburgers for two fancier burgers we had paid for. An hour of our day wasted, andnot even the right food.
Placed an order through DoorDash. When it arrived, nothing in my order was correct. Got the wrong flavor of blizzard, there were no dipping sauces for the chicken strips, no dressing for the salad, they must've been out of shredded cheese for the saladbecause they substituted sliced cheese (ew! , the tomatoes were rotten, and there were no utensils. I wouldn?t normally complainabout missing sauces, dressings, and utensils if I was at my own house, but I?m not (which is why I used DoorDash to get food .I will never order from this location ever again if I?m in the area. Completely disappointed.
Dry, salty burgers. They forgot all of our sauces, but we didn't realize until we got home because it was a pickup order. So we were left with no sauce for the kids' chicken strips even though we paid for extra sauces so everyone would have what theywanted and not have to share. The ice cream was fine, but the food was so disappointing. This was one of our worst visits to DQ.I should just go somewhere else or get only ice cream in the future.
I mean, I don't know what's going on with this place. Like all the children running the front ice cream area were chaos. No manager to help keep them making good choices. They aren't changing gloves between tasks. Just because you have gloves on,doesn't mean your gloves can't get dirty. Not only do they not ever change gloves or wash hands. The area was a mess, foodeverywhere, and nothing being cleaned. They had at least 5 people upfront working and cooks in the back. It's risky businesseating here. If the areas that you can see are dirty, imagine how dirty the soft serve or back areas are.
