Red Basil Thai Bistro - West Jordan

I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, and the service exceeded my expectations. Both the red pumpkin curry and the yellow curry were delicious. The level of spice was just right; a rating of 3 was pleasantly spicy without being overwhelming. I'm excited to have a fantastic Thai option in this area of the valley!

If you love Thai food, this is the place to be! You’re missing out if you don’t give it a try. I’ve been enjoying Thai cuisine for 20 years, and this restaurant is among the best I’ve ever experienced.

We decided to share three dishes family-style among the three of us: yellow curry, Massaman curry, and sweet and sour pork with vegetables. We started with some pork rolls, which were delicious. Each entree came with a lovely dinner salad, and the salad dressing was incredibly tasty! All the food was exceptionally fresh, and the curries were out of this world! The service was excellent, and our waitress was an absolute sweetheart—she was kind and attentive throughout the evening. To cap off our meal, we couldn’t resist trying their desserts, and we absolutely loved the Mango Sticky Rice—it was fabulous, and we can’t wait to return! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was delightful to speak with. We shared our admiration for the restaurant, which is a family business, and honestly, it’s the best Thai cuisine we've ever had! We are thrilled to support local, family-owned businesses in our area and are so glad to have discovered this gem in West Bank! Most beautiful waiter/waitresses ever! Great service! Great food.. Favourites are the pad si ew and green curry. The coconut soup is brilliant, but I hate to get the pieces of ginger, lemongrass and leaves. We were there a lot and the food is always great!! Very good prices!

The best Thai food in Salt Lake City! The Curry is our favorite. The Pad Thai is awesome as well. Great flavor, presentation and service.
