Edo Japan - West Kelowna

I have noticed a decline in the quality of this restaurant since it changed ownership in the last year. I used to enjoy their chicken teriyaki bento box, but the portion sizes of vegetables and chicken have decreased significantly. I also tried the chicken yakisoba, but I do not recommend it as the noodles were chewy and gummy. It's unfortunate that the food quality has decreased as it was once a good option for a tasty and relatively healthy takeout meal.

At my brother-in-law's request, we decided to have EDO Japan for his birthday dinner. It was our first time trying EDO and I placed an order for five people for takeout. However, the phone connection was poor and after several attempts to place an order, it was finally correct. When we got home, we realized that one whole order was missing, we didn't receive the extra sauce we ordered, and the dinners were supposed to come with cauliflower rice which was missing. I called to speak with the owner manager, but he started to argue with me. My brother-in-law mentioned that they had previously experienced incorrect orders from EDO not once, but twice. Therefore, we have decided not to order from EDO Japan West Kelowna again as there are much better Japanese restaurants in our area.

The food at this restaurant is fabulous! I often visit with my two children and myself, and we can enjoy a delicious meal for a reasonable price. Plus, we always take home leftovers for a late-night snack.

The food is fantastic with several great varieties to choose from. the variety is allways excellent and the cook is something to behold as he is always doing his best to satisfy your tastes

Good fresh food tasty and enough ,fast service and cooked to order .tempura was not that great but the main dishes were great.
