Friends Pub And Liquor Store

Update July 2023. Service is still great. Our server (Chantal) was very personable. I was here at 230pm on a Wednesday and they had a wing special which worked well with my beer. The wings had a lot of meat but I felt a bit overcooked. Regardless better than some places I've had wings. Past review: Great service, clean washrooms and ample parking. We had a meat lovers flat bread which was loaded with meat and cheese.

Weirdest alcohol store experience ever! I walked in and there was nothing on the shelves. The lights weren't even on. I asked the girl behind the counter why there was no alcohol on the shelves and she didn't know either. Lmao... it was at least funny. Check it out. Haha

We got food poisoning on the weekend from chicken on the flat bread pizza. When I called to let them know, it was dismissed like they didn’t believe me. That’s okay, I’ll just let others know, so they don’t suffer the same fate. Shame on Friends pub for serving food that makes you sick!!!!

May 16th at like 9pm we came and nobody greeted us, the waitress looked at us and said nothing so we had to ask if we just seat ourselves, we sat for 15 minutes and nobody came to our table so we left, while walking out the waitress wasn’t even in the restaurant anymore. There was only two other tables, bad service.

Excellent food. Cordon Bleu chicken burger, thick, juicy, all breast meat was excellent. Others had chicken tenders and fries and fish and chips. Fries were great. Smallish location and a little dark but delicious food. Definitely will be returning.
