The lines at most food establishments were long, but in true itsu fashion, the service was quick without sacrificing quality or flavor. There was a good selection for vegans, with meat, vegetable, and vegan options for each dish. Despite the limited space, I found a spot to sit and enjoy my meal. I ordered the "Veggie gyoza noodle Bowl," a vegan option packed with juicy noodles, veggies, and seeds. Whether you prefer chopsticks, forks, spoons, or the unique spork, be sure to savor the rich broth directly from the bowl for the best experience. The lingering taste left in my mouth was delightful, lasting even as I boarded my plane. I also tried the "Jasmine Tea," which I enjoyed, but those sensitive to strong floral scents may want to steer clear. Overall, it was worth it for those who enjoy it.
We thought this place looked intriguing and decided to try some sushi. There weren't many options, but there were a few (they may have more hot dishes). We ordered a mixed box of avocado maki, another roll with ginger, carrot, and green bean filling (a unique option for a sushi restaurant), gyoza, another order of gyoza, edamame beans, and miso soup. The soup was delicious and the avocado maki was great. My partner really enjoyed the other roll (he loves ginger), but the gyoza was a bit overcooked and not very tasty. We would still come back, but we would avoid the gyoza. It would be nice if there was a box with just avocado or cucumber maki, as they are always a safe bet! Just skip the soup though!
Pretty limited number but there are three or four vegan options. We have a sushi box and gyoza dumplings. Nothing outstanding but did the trick. Good value.
It is definitely not my preferred restaurant, now in an airport, especially after security, you have to take what you get. From that point of view, the few vegan options they propose, should be a must have in all airport restaurants, now that is not the case. Therefor this is really a great start, I hope it gains some popularity with these vegan options, will extend it and will inspire other airport restaurants as well. It is especially Japanese based food.
