The Angel - West Malling

Nice place. My sort of higgledy-piggledy ancient building, truly excellent staff, and good food. Friends took us there on Sat We'll add it to our short list of eateries in Kent. Suggestion: please turn off the muzak once there's a buzz of conversation

Very pleasantly surprised how good our lunch at the angel was. it wasn't for some time, as some hadn't heard too good reviews. however, the staff were very friendly and all our meals were delicious. you will be back

Met friends for lunch, nice pub with atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

Eating was perfect, but it must be much more vegetarian/ vegan options. the waiting staff should be made aware of before opening the day soup and what the selection of vegetables would involve. very surprised that our waitress knew nothing about it.

We ate in the ‘stable block’ so was quiet and easier to talk. Being Boxing Day it was a pre-order 3 course meal for £42 including a £10 pp deposit. Everyone enjoyed the food. Very tasty and nicely cooked. Only downside was names of what everyone ordered was taken down when ordering. But on serving the starter and dessert (Main was fine the staff didn’t know !
